It was founded on the basis that learning about fine food (and wine) should be a fun, exciting and unpretentious experience. It should take you to places far away, where life is simple, the land is beautiful, and farmers have been practicing their craft for hundreds of years.
We are about educating you on cheese, but also about you discovering for yourself what excites your own palate. The great thing is that everyone finds enjoyment in cheese, and as you try more and learn more, you will not only become an expert, you will also learn how to truly appreciate the distinctions of artisanal French cheese.

As proprietor of Tastee Cheese, Stu Fisher has established a solid position at the forefront of the cheese education scene in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is a proud and vocal proponent of artisanal cheese. Cheese, like wine, represents the climate, soil, flora and fauna of a region, and Stu is dedicated to helping everyone appreciate and enjoy exploring the great distinctions of artisanal cheese. An avid cook and aspiring chef, Stu has been eating and studying cheese for years, and has sampled more than 100 different varieties of cheeses. Tastee Cheese grew out of Stu's passion and curiousity for cheese, and he wants to share that passion with you. |
